Speaking on your trip
Hindi is useful in many places, but is not the local language everywhere. English may be useful in travel settings; ask people which language they prefer.
- Save your accommodation address in the local script.
- Use a written price and confirm what is included.
- Download a relevant translation language pack before travelling.
- For medical consent or serious allergies, use reliable translation and confirm understanding.
