Download a practical checklist, prepare an emergency card and save your plans before you leave Wi-Fi.
1. Save the essentials
A lightweight text file you can open on your phone without a website connection. It includes arrival steps, payment fallbacks and emergency instructions.
No email or account required. Printing uses your device’s print dialog.
Save the website guides
The full pack includes the destination and practical guides, local planning tools and emergency pages. External websites, online maps, remote photos and form submissions still need a connection.
Checking offline availability…
Browsers can clear stored downloads when space is low. Keep your text copy and travel documents separately.
Install through your browser menu where supported: “Add to Home Screen” or “Install app”. Installation alone does not save the full pack.
2. Prepare your emergency card
Saved only in this browser, without encryption by this website. Use your own trusted device. Include only details you want someone helping you to see; no passport or payment numbers.
This card does not send an alert or share your location.
3. Finish your backup kit
Save secure copies of passport, visa/OCI and insurance separately.
Download offline maps and your hotel address in the local script.
Save your consulate’s current emergency number from its official site.
Carry a second payment method, small cash and a charged power bank.
Test your kit in airplane mode. Calls still require phone service.

EMERGENCY
Call 112 in India for police, fire or medical emergencies. Move to a safer public place if possible. Give the exact location, landmark, situation and callback number. This website cannot dispatch help. Tourist assistance 1363 is separate from emergency response. Keep your insurer and consulate numbers separately.
BEFORE DEPARTURE
Check your valid passport, approved visa or valid OCI / government-issued e-OCI, permitted entry port and actual allowed stay. Check required OCI passport-detail updates. Foreign nationals, including OCI holders: complete the separate e-Arrival Card within 72 hours before arrival at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/earrival/. International arriving passengers: complete the current Air Suvidha 2.0 health self-declaration within 24 hours before arrival, preferably before boarding, free at https://airsuvidha.civilaviation.gov.in/. Save both confirmations separately and recheck current airline/airport instructions, including route-specific health or vaccination requirements. Review customs baggage, currency and restricted-goods rules. Download your accommodation address, flight details, insurance assistance and secure document copies. Do not upload passport details to this website. Official visa portal: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/
ON ARRIVAL
Use official immigration, baggage and customs channels. Verify your entry record. Buy connectivity from an authorised operator and allow for identity checks or activation delays. Keep a working roaming or offline fallback. Carry small cash and a second payment method: visitor UPI onboarding may not be available immediately. Use an official airport transport counter or a verified app booking; match the vehicle and driver. Confirm your hotel directly if anyone claims it is closed.
DAILY TRAVEL
Verify train/flight status and station/terminal before leaving. Allow realistic transfer time. Ask the total price before accepting a service. Do not disclose PINs or OTPs. Use safe drinking water and freshly cooked food. Tell providers about serious allergies and keep prescribed medicines and their documentation with you. Seek professional medical advice for illness.
